Description
Ocean Lace — Luxury in the Making
Some abayas earn their elegance through embellishment. Ocean Lace earns it through construction — the kind of detail that takes a skilled hand days, not hours, and that rewards the closest inspection. The entire skirt and sleeves are worked in hand-stitched diagonal pin-tucks: rows of precise, even stitching that catch the light as you move, giving the fabric a subtle, shifting texture that no print or pattern could replicate. This is structural handwork — unforgiving, skilled, and entirely done by hand.
Down the front runs a delicate frilled placket, edged with a sequined embroidered band that adds just enough shimmer without tipping into loud. The wide sleeves finish in soft butterfly frills — double-tiered ruffles that fall beautifully whether your arms are raised or at rest. Across the bodice and cuffs, tiny pearl and crystal accents are scattered by hand like light on water. The matching dupatta carries the same frilled finish, arriving complete and considered. Cut from a deep teal satin-touch fabric, this is a piece for the woman who knows that real luxury lives in the making.

Care
Dry clean recommended. If hand-washing, use cold water and a mild detergent, turn inside out to protect the pin-tucks and beadwork, and do not wring. Hang to dry. Cool iron on reverse only — do not iron directly over pin-tucked panels or beadwork.
Please Note
This is a true deep teal — rich, saturated, and closer to a peacock or jewel tone than a pale seafoam. Under warm indoor lighting it may read slightly more blue-green; in natural daylight it sits as a clean, vibrant teal. The satin-touch fabric reflects light directionally — the colour will appear to shift slightly as the fabric moves, which is a natural property of the weave.
